What is a Couch Captain? A Couch Captain is a Girls Inc. supporter/volunteer who is raising money to help our girls by building a team of friends, colleagues, and family members to meet their giving goal- much like a Table Captain would for an in-person event. As the Girls Celebration event is virtual this year, our Captains are building their teams virtually- from the comfort of their own Couch! Girls Inc. of Worcester's mission is to inspire all girls to be strong, smart, and bold. Each year we serve nearly 1,000 under-resourced girls ages 5-18 from the Greater Worcester area. Our in-person, virtual, and hybrid programs focus on health/wellness, academic enrichment, and life skills development.
